How we use your data
We hold a membership list which is made available to members of the Committee who are actively running the charity. When you apply to be added to our members-only Facebook group, your name (or a carer / family member you have designated) is checked against this list.
We use your name and email address as a unique identifier to give you access to the members-only section of the website.
We retain donations / membership joining fee payment information for regulatory purposes.
We do not pass membership data to third parties.
We will only make your contact details available to other members for mutual support via the members-only section of the website if you have requested us to do so via the Contact List form.
You can visit our Noticeboard yourself at any time to see the latest charity news and upcoming events.
We may periodically need to contact members for administrative reasons or we may wish to update you about charity news including notices about Annual General Meetings and Open Days. To save on postage costs, we will use email wherever practical. If you are joining as a new member and wish to receive such information please indicate how on your membership application form.
